Spitfire 0.52.0 release notes
Released: 2026-10-18
- **Weekly watch summary**: every Monday at 09:00 (in the installation's time zone) a Slack, Teams, e-mail or Webhook channel subscribed to `monitor.weekly` gets the last full week's synthetic monitor summary: uptime and the week before's, checks and bad checks, SLO status (met / at risk / budget spent), the monitors drifting, the week's deploys, and per monitor, worst first, uptime, p95 and its change against the week before. Each workspace gets its own monitors once a week (even with several controllers); the test filter applies. The event is opt-in, existing channels do not change. Press Send the weekly summary now next to a channel under Integrations to see it without waiting for Monday.
- CI/CD: the GitHub Action (v1.2.0) with its `maintenance` input and the GitLab template with its `.spitfire-maintenance` job start and end planned maintenance from a pipeline; the docs have examples.
Updating
Your installation tells you about a new release itself: admins see its notes and the update command for that installation at the top of the UI. The command backs up the database first and keeps the settings (Updating). You can also follow new releases with the RSS feed.
