Spitfire 0.68.0 release notes
Released: 2026-11-01
- Alert rule: on a synthetic monitor with two or more locations, edit the monitor and pick under Alerts "When any location is bad" (the default, today's behavior) or "When most locations are bad". Under majority a round is bad only when more than half the locations failed or were slow, a tie is good; one location's own network trouble no longer opens an alert. It is the same rule as the monthly SLA's overall row.
- Under majority a bad location in the minority shows a "partial problem: fra" badge on the monitor and sends nothing. The monitor.down notice names the rule and the bad locations ("2/3 locations bad: fra, ist"). Existing monitors do not change.
Updating
Your installation tells you about a new release itself: admins see its notes and the update command for that installation at the top of the UI. The command backs up the database first and keeps the settings (Updating). You can also follow new releases with the RSS feed.
