Spitfire 0.63.0 release notes
Released: 2026-11-01latest
- Apdex: every run gives user satisfaction as one score between 0 and 1. A request finishing within T is satisfied, within 4T tolerating (half), slower or failed frustrated; e.g. (800 + 150/2) / 1000 = 0.875. The run page has an Apdex tile (excellent/good/fair/poor/unacceptable) and an Apdex column in the steps table.
- The T target is in the test's Options (Apdex target, default 500ms); a step can override it with its own apdexT. Usable as a threshold: apdex rate>0.9.
- Apdex shows in the HTML/PDF report, the summary and time series CSVs and comparisons (score difference); runners, locations and steps combine weighted by request count. Docs: Load model → How the math works → 7. Apdex.
Updating
Your installation tells you about a new release itself: admins see its notes and the update command for that installation at the top of the UI. The command backs up the database first and keeps the settings (Updating). You can also follow new releases with the RSS feed.
