Spitfire 0.62.8 release notes
Released: 2026-10-31latest
- VU, iteration, iterations/s, runner and location fields carry an orange "i" that explains the term with an example (e.g. 10 iterations/s × 3 requests = 30 requests a second; 300 VUs, 3 runners → 100 VUs each).
- The breaking point form shows its units: Start, Increase and Max are iterations/s, and each shows its requests per second underneath.
- New docs section: Load model → How the math works (step by step). Requests/s from VUs and from a rate, duration, fitting a breaking point test into 15 minutes, splitting over runners and locations and the license check, with numbers; the "How it is calculated" link opens it from the "i"s, the breaking point form and the limits line in the Run dialog.
Updating
Your installation tells you about a new release itself: admins see its notes and the update command for that installation at the top of the UI. The command backs up the database first and keeps the settings (Updating). You can also follow new releases with the RSS feed.
