- **Announce a deploy from CI in one step**: the Spitfire GitHub Action with `deploy: true`, and the GitLab template's new `.spitfire-deploy` job, announce the deploy to your synthetic monitors, no curl to write. The monitors it touches check at once and then every minute for 30 minutes, and the Deploys card gives the deploy its verdict. The version defaults to the commit; the deploy's id and how many monitors woke are passed to later steps. The docs (CI/CD and Close watch after a deploy) are updated.
Updating
Your installation tells you about a new release itself: admins see its notes and the update command for that installation at the top of the UI. The command backs up the database first and keeps the settings (Updating). You can also follow new releases with the RSS feed.
