Spitfire 0.62.0 release notes
Released: 2026-10-29
- Tower: a small gateway in your network. It takes metrics from Collectors, keeps them on disk while the controller can't be reached and forwards them over one outgoing link; nothing connects into your network. Add one on the Towers & metrics page.
- Collector: the official OpenTelemetry Collector config for server (CPU, memory, disk, network) and PostgreSQL (connections, commits, deadlocks) metrics takes a few clicks; the token and the password stay out of it and are read from the environment.
- The run report's Backend tab shows server and database charts with the load stages, with no connection added to the test.
- Metric retention and the number of servers/databases kept follow your plan: free 1 server + 1 database and 7 days, Starter 3 + 1 and 30 days, Growth 10 + 3 and 90 days, Scale 30 + 10 and 180 days, Enterprise unlimited and 365 days. Admins can shorten it in Settings. Storage consent comes first.
- Add-on packs: +10 servers and +5 databases (metrics).
Updating
Your installation tells you about a new release itself: admins see its notes and the update command for that installation at the top of the UI. The command backs up the database first and keeps the settings (Updating). You can also follow new releases with the RSS feed.
