- **Template cards in plain words**: each template says what it does and what you will know at the end (e.g. "Finds where your system starts to choke").
- **No JSONPath in the list → detail templates**: just type the name of the field that fetches the detail (id, uid, name…); Spitfire finds the first record wherever the list sits in the response. The editor has the new extract source too: **Key of the first record**.
- **An empty Compare page shows the way**: with no tests yet, a **Create test** button sits in the middle.
- **Simpler screens**: a green **Enter license key** button on the free edition and **Upgrade the plan** on the License page; data retention fixes a day count above your license's limit by itself and says why in red; orange (i) explanations close by themselves after 10-15 seconds if left open; red alerts read better on the dark theme; a shorter welcome notice.
Updating
Your installation tells you about a new release itself: admins see its notes and the update command for that installation at the top of the UI. The command backs up the database first and keeps the settings (Updating). You can also follow new releases with the RSS feed.
