Spitfire 0.57.0 release notes
Released: 2026-10-24
- **Eight issue trackers like Jira**: Azure DevOps Boards (Services; Server 2019, 2020, 2022), GitLab (gitlab.com; Self-Managed 13.0+), GitHub (github.com; Enterprise Server 3.0+), YouTrack (Cloud; Server 2020.1+), Redmine (4.0+) and Linear channels join Jira and ServiceNow. A problem opens one issue; while it is open, repeats and the recovery are comments on it. Part of the issue tracking add-on, or bought channel by channel.
- **A version choice at setup**: setting up an issue tracking channel asks which product and version you run (e.g. Jira Cloud or Data Center 8.x–11.x; on Jira a personal access token needs 8.14 or later). The connection test reads the server's version where the API tells it: older than the oldest supported (Jira 8.0, ServiceNow Tokyo, Azure DevOps Server 2019, GitLab 13.0, GitHub Enterprise Server 3.0, YouTrack 2020.1), it says why; different from your pick, it names the right option. Jira and ServiceNow channels set up before stay Automatic and work as before.
- **Zabbix: a version choice and password sign-in**: the Zabbix connection asks for 5.0, 5.4, 6.0, 6.4, 7.0 or 7.2+, and signs in with a user name and password as well as an API token. The oldest supported is 5.0 LTS. Existing token connections are unchanged.
Updating
Your installation tells you about a new release itself: admins see its notes and the update command for that installation at the top of the UI. The command backs up the database first and keeps the settings (Updating). You can also follow new releases with the RSS feed.
