- **SLO and error budget**: every synthetic monitor now has a 30-day SLO target (99.9% by default; pick 99%–99.99% in the monitor form). A new card on the monitor page shows the good-check share against the target, the **error budget left** as a bar and the **burn rate** of the last 24 hours; the dashboard's **Always-on watch** card lists the monitors whose budget is running low. The new `monitor.budget` event goes to Slack, Teams, e-mail, SMS, webhook and issue-tracker channels once when the budget falls to a quarter and once when it runs out; existing channels are unchanged — tick it in a channel's **Events** list to receive it.
Updating
Your installation tells you about a new release itself: admins see its notes and the update command for that installation at the top of the UI. The command backs up the database first and keeps the settings (Updating). You can also follow new releases with the RSS feed.
