Spitfire 0.37.0 release notes
Released: 2026-10-15
- Two-step verification (TOTP), in every edition: local and LDAP accounts ask for the 6-digit code of an authenticator app after the password, with 10 single-use recovery codes. Admins can require it of admins or of everyone (Users page) and reset it for a user who lost their phone; a locked-out only admin uses reset-password --reset-2fa. SSO (OIDC/SAML) accounts are left to the identity provider.
- Jira and ServiceNow channels (issue tracking add-on): a run that failed a threshold or failed, a worse comparison, a schedule that did not start or a monitor going down opens a Jira issue or a ServiceNow incident. While it is open, a repeat is a comment, and so is the recovery. Included in Enterprise; on the other editions adding the first channel starts a 7-day trial, then it is bought as an add-on.
- The License page shows both add-on modules (monitoring events, issue tracking) and their trials separately.
Updating
Your installation tells you about a new release itself: admins see its notes and the update command for that installation at the top of the UI. The command backs up the database first and keeps the settings (Updating). You can also follow new releases with the RSS feed.
